In case you hadn't noticed, I'm not a graphic designer, though I did have a go at the logo, and I'm rather proud of it. I'm a software engineer, with a preference for "getting my hands dirty". I'll tackle any machine code, and will often have a go at operating systems programming.
I run Debian Linux at home, on up to five different architectures, and am trying to avoid Windows whenever possible. I've done a bit of kernel hacking, including a driver for Promise caching hard disk controller cards. The driver has been in and been dropped from the kernel, so it's a bit old hat now, but I'd still be interested in anyone who has or has had one.
More recently I hack on angband, OpenWrt, openocd and EPICS.
I used to be the RPM maintainer for X-ISP, an excellent graphical dialler, written by Dimitrios Bouras - but then I got a permanent connection to the net. Click to download the latest RPM, version 2.6p1.
